We’ve created a YouTube page and are in the process of tracking down every video by artists featured on CFRD, so now you can see all of them in one place. Colorado Free Radio Group boasts two internet radio stations, three podcasts, one vid cast and an internet TV broadcast station. CFRG is affiliated to several blogs as well as a YouTube page a MySpace page and several websites.
CFRG features two internet radio stations, several podcasts and blogs. Colorado Free Radio Durango is our original station presenting the finest in Independent Artists and Music. Colorado Free Radio Old Time Radio is our old time radio station with one of the largest playlist of Old Time Radio shows on the internet.
Using state of the art broadcasting and podcasting software, CFRG strives to bring the finest in Independent Music, Old Time radio and Talk radio to the internet.
CFRD was our first station. Inspired by Whole Wheat Radio, the original idea was to bring music by independent artists from all over the internet to one place for people to enjoy. The stations site has links to a submissions page for artists as well as a searchable interactive request playlist. We also feature an Artist of the Week page and CFRD merchandise page. COlorado Free Radio is constantly trying to improve it's playlist by searching the internet for more artists to add. We have had many submissions over the last couple of years and they are growing. We can't add all of them as we have a criterira we adhere to but most of the submissions have been added and are excellent.
Sister station to CFRD, is an old time radio station presenting Historical Broadcasts, News and Radio Shows from the early years of radio. CFROTR has one of the largest playlists of OTR on the internet, and that list keeps growing. CFROTR also has an interactive request capable playlist link on it's website. CFROTR also has a podcast/blog featuring host Johnny Night with information on anything OTR.
